EPESaver™ ES-PRO Weatherization Program

EPE's Energy Saving Partners Reaching Out

Through its "Energy Savings Partners Reaching Out ("ES PRO") Program, El Paso Electric Company (EPE) is making approximately $400,000 available in 2009 to weatherization agencies that can provide energy efficiency improvements to the homes of income-eligible customers in the EPE service area. Energy-efficiency measures include efficient lighting, solar screens, attic and wall insulation, and certain appliance and comfort conditioning equipment. The participating agency is responsible for identifying eligible customers, validating income eligibility, performing assessments to prioritize energy efficiency improvements and arranging for the installation of eligible energy efficiency measures.

As a consumer:

• Be sure you understand the terms of any agreement before signing and know how much you will pay.
• Request a copy of all paperwork.
• You have 72 hours (3 days) to cancel any agreement (called Right of Rescission period).
• Ask for an "All Bills Paid Affidavit" if a subcontractor is used.
• An EPE representative may contact you to verify the work was done.
