SAVE ENERGY! SAVE MONEY!

The New Mexico EnergySaver Program provides no-cost energy efficiency services to low-income qualified customers. The program is designed to lower your monthly energy bill while making your home more comfortable.

EnergyWorks, El Paso Electric’s authorized contractor, will install energy saving measures in your home.

Energy savings and services vary based on the type of air conditioning and heating installed in your home. You may qualify for some or all of the following measures:
  • Evaporative Cooler Replacement
  • Advanced Power Strips
  • LED Lighting
  • Smart Thermostats
  • Attic Insulation
  • Air Sealing
  • Duct Sealing
  • Water Heater Pipe & Tank Insulation
  • High Efficiency Showerheads
  • High Efficiency Kitchen & Bathroom Faucet Aerators

Do I Qualify?

Check the table below to determine if your household income is below the listed limits. Based on your income level and household size (200% of DHHS Federal Poverty Guidelines), you may be eligible for the Energy Saver Program.

Find a Service Provider

Select a service provider for your project or schedule an energy assessment. These service providers have participated in EPE’s rebate program in the past and are in good standing. However, EPE does not recommend any particular service provider over another. You may select a service provider from this list or another service provider of your choosing.

Housing Types

The EPE Energy Saver Program provides energy efficiency services for all types of residential homes. Site built homes, mobile homes, and apartments may all be eligible for energy efficiency services.

Multifamily and rental properties may also be eligible. If you represent a non-profit entity, public housing authority, or operate facilities with more than 4 dwelling units and income-qualified residents, your building may be eligible.
